To all things brew-tiful that one loves💟Coffee drip-me-immediately please and thank you...in a way that real dames do! Waking up in the wackiest way today, so I already know that calmness is one of my focuses as I continuously lay...in this war sometimes-- one that starts in the mind. I took one moment to breathe. Before my eyes opened, my mind woke with fast flashbacks of the dream I had just escaped. Yes, y'all I was dripped in chaos! I took another breath, this one in reflection. I began again to breath slowly and with understanding that my dream was telling a lot of the things my mind was yelling. Wack-chiato I need a macchiato.
I decided last night that I was going to have a good next day. I lit a #cheloshun strawberry lemon-lime lavender candle, played a little Jill Scott, showered with calming creams, and closed my eyes with plans of a cute simple outfit to drip the next day... before I had all of those dreams.
A dame needs to distress. With my mind awake and my eyes closed, I take one deep breath in thru my nose. I am a believer in practicing the 4-7-8 method that folks can use to eliminate any stress, anxiety or sleep deprivation. It's really an art of breathing. The technique simply involves you to breath deep from your diaphragm in for 4 seconds, hold that breath for 7 seconds, and exhale it for 8 seconds allowing it to flow out gently. Repeat. Breathing helps control the nervous system and encourages the body to relax. This is how I immediately go into meditation...and manifestation. Wake, pray/meditate, love--but first breathe.
